A specialty service for your not-so-chill dog

This service is for you if:
Sam, founder of Wolf.Man Dog Training & Consulting, specializes in reactive dogs and adolescent dogs (ages 5 months to 2 years).
If your dog is barking and lunging on walks, or if that perfect puppy you got a few months ago is now a teenaged terror, we can help you!
The most common problems we hear:
I don’t have the time to train my dog
I don’t know what to do when my dog isn’t responding to training
I can’t remember what the trainer said about this one thing
I’m just not seeing any progress
The toughest part about training is consistency, which pretty much includes all of the problems above. If this resonates with you, our services are for you!
Training that supports YOU!
Convenient and easy!
No need to arrange drop off or pick up — we come to your home.
No intense or overly time-consuming homework for you and your dog. We keep skills so simple and easy, you won’t even feel like you’re training!
We help to install new behaviors that will set you up for success long after your package is over.
How does it work?
We build your custom plan during our consultation!
Hybrid packages are available to get in a nice balance of 1:1 coaching and day training (where we come to train the dog while you’re at work!)
You get a short video recap after each session with helpful links and resources to supplement our plan. No more reading long, overly detailed recap emails — we know that can be exhausting.
Consistent communication to make sure things are running smoothly. We’re just a text away!
Currently serving Alexandria, Arlington, and parts of Fairfax in Northern VA
What my clients have to say . . .
“Working with Sam has been a game changer for our leash reactive dog! We chose the Big Feelings package for 3 weeks followed by a few additional sessions. After a couple months of working with Sam, our dog is much more confident outside on leash and we are all better prepared to manage dog sightings to avoid big reactions. We’ve seen our dog choose to create distance between herself and other dogs instead of barking and lunging, and we have many more tools in our toolbox for helping her navigate triggers.”
