Day Training is for dogs who are showing troublesome behavior that cannot be addressed through your run of the mill group classes or basic training. It is also catered to your busy schedule since we train while you’re away.
These are private, in-home lessons where the focus is just on your foster dog and their needs. No need to worry about rushing home from work in DC traffic to get your dog to class, or meet your trainer somewhere!
These package types range from working on basic life skills for your wild child teenager to working on bigger feelings and louder behaviors like reactivity, fear, and resource guarding.
Disclaimer: We do not work with separation related problems, however, we can refer you to wonderful trainers that do!
Day training is currently available in the Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax areas of Northern VA. Other parts of the DMV on a case by case basis
Day Training for Foster Dogs
How does it work?
Day Training happens in your home multiple days a week.
Packages are built to jumpstart new behaviors with consistent sessions.
Throughout your package, you receive consistent check ins, and video playlists of what your dog is learning
The trainer works with you 1-on-1 at the end of the week to show you what to do over the weekend — don’t worry, you don’t get a lot of homework!
Progress is not linear! We are here to help you get started on your journey to a better life with your dog. It’s up to you to uphold your dog’s progress.
Reports for your shelter or rescue are included in these packages along with recommendations for potential adopters.
